| The DDGM suggested
that if the District past masters would like to sponsor a chips program,
mike black PM chips chairman would gladly assist them in their effort. As
well as to contact either reading Demolay boys or reading rainbow girls and
ask their assistance. The 7th Masonic District Past Masters Club will now be officially titled the
7th Masonic District Past Masters Steering Group.
John Printz PM suggested that their be some form of recognition from the
grand lodge of pa for those members who attend at least 75% of their stated
meetings as a way of encouraging members to attend, thus increasing
individual lodge participation. (Possibly a lapel pin or a certificate of
some sort signed by the RWGM ).
Luther Moyer PM suggested that each lodge have a past master designated as
contact or liaison if you will to telephone the lodge past masters and
inform of upcoming past master meetings and events.
John Dehart PM suggested we consider starting a blog. John has corporate
blog which he is involved in at work and felt that it could be beneficial to
the District.
The DDGM asked that each lodge if they do not currently have a proficiency
officer that they appoint one ASAP to increase officer and member Masonic
ritual and protocol proficiency.
Mike Huck PM felt that communication via email was an essential part of
informing the District past masters of upcoming activities. He currently has
100 past master email addresses.
The DDGM asked the members present to consider some viable options for
District fundraisers. |
